“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams, live the life you imagined.” – Henry David Thoreau
Thank you for stopping by my page. My name is Nicole – pen name Nicole Eileen, and I am currently an unpublished writer with the goal to one day be published. I graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with my Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing and English, and I am a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.
I have one non-fiction article published called, “Victoria, B.C. Raw Sewage Dumping Concerns” that I wrote for the Ian Somerhalder Foundation, a Non-Profit Organization that focuses on supporting Empowerment for Animal rights, and Global/Disaster relief. While it’s not an article that reflects my creative side, I wrote it because ISF is an organization that I support immensely; and I will continue to write articles like these to raise awareness.
I have written several non-published (for now) short stories, and I am slowly but surely working on my first novel, “Sideways” (I will disclose more info about it soon!). I’ve always had a passion for the written word . It’s easier for me to write about the things that I do understand, but I really enjoy writing about the things that I don’t.
I love writing stories that are fun but real. I challenge my characters, pushing their boundaries and exposing honest and tough emotions women my age can relate to. I enjoy romantic elements in my writing, but I aspire to explore deeper and darker parts of life. I am a happy, adventurous, 33 year young woman, and I never want to miss an opportunity to give my readers those lip-biting butterflies of hope towards creating a life that makes their soul happy even through the ups and downs in life. If I could bottle up perfect days in a jar and give it away, I’d fill them with motivation, fulfillment and gratitude and make sure it was wrapped with a sparkling bow and sealed with a kiss.
I am an introvert at heart, so I’m perfectly content with a wild Friday night in reading a good book or creating masterful art in my Adult coloring books while watching Hallmark movies, but I am also a sucker for new experiences that enhance this beautiful life that God has given me. That is the dream of it all. Exploring this one life we have to live and enjoying new experiences.
What can you expect from me and this blog?
This is a safe place AND a positive place. I aspire to be a published author and while I am working on that, I just want to share my process – the struggles and triumphs, my love for words (writing and reading them), and most importantly connecting with my audience in a relatable, motivational, and inspiring way. Life can be a crazy but amazing ride. We are in this together.
I hope you stay a while!
